The Why and How of Setting Up A Quality Lab

Lecture Description

A well-designed quality lab is often one of the most overlooked investments by new and growing coffee companies. While the primary focus of most roasteries is ensuring a well operating production floor, roasting wonderful coffees, and ensuring financial growth, the establishment of a functioning quality lab is a strategic investment that can positively impact the quality of a roastery's products, strengthen branding, and enhance your position in the market. This lecture will focus on the necessary equipment and systems needed to establish a robust Quality Control/Quality Assurance program for roasteries of any size with a strong focus on establishing an affordable and functional QC/QA lab for newer roasteries interested in improving all things quality.
