In Solidarity with the People of Louisiana

Our hearts are with the people of Louisiana who were battered by Hurricane Ida this past weekend. More than one million homes and businesses are without power and at least two people are known to have died.

We’re doing our best to get in touch with our local partners and are awaiting the state’s assessment of the damage so that we may provide an update to our exhibitors and attendees on the status of Expo. Please bear with us while we assess how the local coffee community is doing and the impact on the event.

In the meantime, we’re also in touch with the U.S. Chapter and New Orleans coffee community to figure out how best to support coffee people affected by the storm. If you are a member of the New Orleans coffee community and want to get in touch with us, please reach out to the U.S. Chapter at uschapter@sca.coffee.

Updated September 15, 2021

We continue to work with the U.S. Chapter and partners to identify relief efforts to support coffee community and people of NOLA affected by Hurricane Ida. These lists are updated as we receive submissions from the community.
