Roaster Village Moves to the Main Show Floor!

Specialty Coffee Expo is the largest coffee trade show in North America that sees thousands of coffee professionals walking the show floor each year seeking the latest innovative products and services available to the specialty coffee industry. We’re proud of the show’s growth year-on-year and excited to announce that the Roaster Village is moving to a prominent area on the main show floor!

Following the merger of Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) and Specialty Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE) this roaster-focused platform was inspired by a similar concept that had found success in past years at SCAE’s World of Coffee trade show in Europe. The Roaster Village first launched as a show feature at Expo back in 2017 at Specialty Coffee Expo in Seattle, Washington and was located in the U.S. Coffee Championships competitions area. The goal for the space was to give small roasters access to a wide specialty coffee audience at a more accessible rate than the traditional booth in the exhibition hall.

The Roaster Village serves as a key meeting point at SCA trade shows for attendees to talk to small roasters and boutique green coffee importers who showcase the latest trends in coffee sourcing, handling, roasting, brewing, and distribution. During the shows, exhibitors organize cuppings and brew coffees for attendees to sample whilst sharing information about the work that they do

The move to the main show floor will give Roaster Village exhibitors the opportunity to connect with even more attendees during the show. We’re excited to see the connections and relationships that develop in the Roaster Village in Portland in April 2023.

The Roaster Village is proudly supported by Title Sponsor, Sanremo Coffee Machines.
